Florentino Perez: Real Madrid And Sergio Ramos Are "United Forever"

Florentino Perez believes that Real Madrid and Sergio Ramos are "united forever", after the defender penned a new five-year deal with the club.

Ramos was heavily linked with a summer switch to Manchester United but, on Monday, the Centre-half committed his future to Los Blancos until 2020.

Consequently, Perez now believes that the World Cup winner will finish his career at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"Today is a great day," the Blancos supremo told reporters. "Real Madrid has satisfaction that Sergio will be with us for five more years.

"Ramos is a symbol of Madridisma, which has made us love him for many years with his character, desire and huge heart.

"That's why Real Madrid and Ramos are united forever."
