As seven FIFA officials continued to fight extradition to the US over claims they were involved in a “World Cup of fraud”, Blatter’s right-hand man Jérôme Valcke remained at the centre of speculation over what he knew about a $10m payment to the disgraced former FIFA vice-president Jack Warner.

As the FIFA Crisis deepen's, more and more revelation of the World Football Governing body's poor conducts are been made public by respectable individuals and organisations globally. These accusations range from Arms dealing, money laundering and kickbacks.  This time, the Football Association of Ireland chief executive, John Delaney, has confirmed that the body accepted a payment from FIFA after Thierry Henry’s handball in the 2010 World Cup qualifying play-offs ended their hopes of qualifying for the tournament in South Africa. The Football Association of Ireland later confirmed that the payment amounted to €5m (£3.67m) and Delaney claimed it was made so the organisation would not pursue legal action against Fifa.
