BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER will pocket a staggering £13m-a-season at Manchester United to become the highest-paid midfielder in the Premier League. The German superstar has stunned football by quitting Bayern Munich to join  United  in a £10m deal. But  Starsport  can reveal the midfield ace has agreed a three-year deal worth £275,000-a-week that will cost United almost £40m in wages. The deal sees him leapfrog Manchester City rival Yaya Toure as the most expensive midfielder in English football history.

“Real Madrid C.F. have announced the contract extension of Dani Carvajal which will keep him at the club until the 30th of June 2020” The right-back, who is a product of Real's academy, has been recently linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United. According to reports, United chief Louis van Gaal is an admirer of the 23-year-old and views him as the ideal replacement for Rafael - who is set to exit Old Trafford.                                 Higuain Begs to Leave Napoli Arsene Wenger is reportedly looking to spice up his attack this summer - and Higuain is on his shortlist. The Argentine ace was close to joining the Gunners two years ago before opting for Napoli instead. The former Real Madrid man has been a big hit in Italy, bagging 51 goals in 98 appearances. And that impressive form has seen Arsenal retain their interest in completing a deal. Reports from Italy have suggest a bid of £43.3m has been rejected by Napoli, who are holding out for the player's full £67.5m release clause. However,  Corriere dello Sport  report today that Higuain will attempt to force a move to Arsenal by begging for the transfer to go through.

In demonstrating its willingness to contend for both domestic and European Titles in 2015-16 league season, Arsenal Football club of London has aquired the services of a Sports Performance expert. Irishman Barry Solan spent 10 years working with Joachim Low's side and helped keep their stars in the best possible shape to win the World Cup in Brazil. He's a coach specialising in sports performance and is currently working in Gaelic football. But when the Gaelic football seasons finishes he will link up with Arsenal's current head of performance enhancement Shad Forsythe at the Emirates. The two worked together at Exos, who describe themselves as a "global leader for integrated performance training, nutrition, and physical therapy". Solan will be tasked with helping reduce the the number of injuries suffered by Gunners players. The move to brings in Solan comes after Arsene Wenger appointed former Huddersfield physio James Haycock to replace Declan L
