Flying Eagles Arrives Senegal Wednesday



Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will depart for the African Youth Championship in Senegal on Wednesday, officials have announced.
Assistant Coach Nduka Ugbade disclosed that the team will fly out of Abuja via Lagos and Banjul, Gambia, to Dakar.
“We will leave Abuja Wednesday afternoon on our way to Dakar,”said the Team Builder. The team will begin their quest for the 2015 AYC on Sunday against hosts Senegal. Kick-off time is 5.30 pm Nigerian time at the Stade Leopold Sedar Senghor in Dakar.
Other top teams on the same group with the Eagles are Congo and Cote d’Ivoire.
The four semi-finalists at this tournament will represent Africa at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be staged in New Zealand from May.
