The European Champions League Champions were put to test by Sevilla FC another La liga Club side and also the UEFA cup champions.
Anchored by Captain Sergio Ramos who made up for conceding made sure he put the champions back to   level as he headed in the equalizer in the dying minutes of the 2nd half.

Goals from  Asensio (21'), Ramos (90'+3), Vázquez (41'), Konoplyanka (72' pen), 2-2 at full time was enough to set up the game on a pulsating 30 mins extra time as Dani carvajal's 119 minute goal summed it up for the Champions.

Talking Points:

RED CARD - Timothee Kolodziejczak (Sevilla)
Posted at
94 mins

It went for Sevilla. They had to play the last 25 minutes down to 10 men after Timothee Kolodziejczak was sent off for a second yellow card following a foul on Lucas Vazquez.

Sergio Ramos's Disallowed goal
Sergio Ramos had the ball in the back of the Sevilla net. He celebrated with his jubilant team-mates but the celebrations were cut short as his acrobatic header was ruled out but it was not clear what for. He was certainly not offside.
