Gonzalo Higuain: I want To Join Arsenal
Higuain Begs to Leave Napoli
Arsene Wenger is reportedly looking to spice up his attack this summer - and Higuain is on his shortlist.
The Argentine ace was close to joining the Gunners two years ago before opting for Napoli instead.
The former Real Madrid man has been a big hit in Italy, bagging 51 goals in 98 appearances.
And that impressive form has seen Arsenal retain their interest in completing a deal.
Reports from Italy have suggest a bid of £43.3m has been rejected by Napoli, who are holding out for the player's full £67.5m release clause.
However, Corriere dello Sport report today that Higuain will attempt to force a move to Arsenal by begging for the transfer to go through.
