An Interview With Nduka Ugbade The Flying Eagles assistant Coach
As the Flying Eagles tackle their Ghanaian counterparts in Accra this evening in the 2nd game of their two-legged friendly, assistant Flying Eagles coach, Nduka Ugbade says Nigerians should not expect much difference from Monday’s encounter which ended 2-2.
According to him, the most important thing is just the exposure of the players.
” It’s just a friendly match, there’s nothing to serious concerning it just like the one we that ended 2-2.
” Importantly, Like the Chief Coach said its just 2 or three weeks before our competition so this is a means of exposure for the boys, they don’t playing for clubs, so coming into this big stage could be strange for some of them and this is an opportunity we have seized.
Ugbade also explained that they are as much as possible trying to guard against injuries ahead of next month’s Senegal 2015 AYC.
” We had to tune down on the intensity and demands on the players because of injuries and all.We use this occasions to teach the boys on areas they must improve or what we want to keep from the opponents.”
