The UCL Draws: Leicester City FC Are the Newest Entrants...... They Seem To Be Getting An Easy Start
Leicester City FC's 2014/16 EPL season result as league leaders ensure's that they make their first appearance in the European Champion's League but whether or not they are freshers would mean that they are seeded against more experienced club sides.
Seeded in what could be regarded as the weakest group on the table, they could still face an uphill task against former European Champion Fc Porto and Belgian League giants Club Brugge.
Porto won't be easy to beat, especially at the
50,000-capacity Estadio do Dragao. They aren't the same side that won the
Champions League under Jose Mourinho in 2004, but still boast veteran keeper
Iker Casillas, no-nonsense Brazilian defender Alex Telles, talented Spanish
midfielder Oliver Torres and Riyad Mahrez's international teammate Yacine
Brahimi a pacy poacher who Leicester have scouted in the past. Porto have a
lot of European know-how and are just as devastating on the counterattack as
the Foxes, who will go into both fixtures as slight underdogs.
