The Jayjay Okocha Foundation: History Will Not Forgive Me If I don't Give Back To The People
JayJay Okocha There Is No Better Time Than This
Few weeks ago esportainment was privileged to honour the invitation of the young and amiable Mega Football Star's media pally where he announced his intention to launch the JayJay Okocha Foundation.
The World Press Conference was held in an elaborate ceremony at the premises of I-Naira, an online auctioning organisation at Banana island Ikoyi.
For the foundation to take off smoothly there was need for partnership hence the marriage between the JayJay Okocha Foundation and I-dash Naira was formerly signed into place in the presence of former Nigerian Internationals, the press and other stake holders.
I grew up from a poor family and football changed my life so my brother Emma and i have adopted football as a tool to get footballers back to school because education is key. Further more, at a time like this in our country we want to use football to foster unity and also give back to the community. Jayjay Okocha
The former Bolton Wanderers of England captain noted that the Foundation was a dream come true and that it was going to be chaired by his elder brother Emma... He went on by saying history will not forgive me if i did not give back to the people as i believe that i have not done enough.
To get the foundation going, we have partnered with I-dash Naira.com which is the official auctioneer of the JayJay Okocha Foundation. This is important in the aspect of raising funds for the foundation. I will be selling my collections and my football memorabilia used during my career used in all my football clubs and those of the national teams.
