Nigerian Olympic Team In Complete Disarray As She Stops Her Best Athlete Okagbare From Competing In Rio

The National Sports Commission and the Athletics Federation of Nigeria have both placed a ban on Blessing Okagbare the Nation's best chance of winning atleast a medal at the forth coming Olympic Tournament In Rio Brazil.

In 2015, Blessing Okagbare had escused herself from participating at the All African Games held Congo as a result of an injury she got in the Beijin World Championship.

The decision which did not go down well with Nigerian Sport Authorities however prompted them to exclude Okagbare from the Global Event.

Blessing Okagbare seen as the best chance for Nigeria, a country which just started preparing for the events just few months ago and also facing cash problems, ran an impressive 10.98 seconds in Zurich's Diamond league even when she claimed she was injured.

Her sudden appearance in the Diamond league came as a suprise to the NSC and the AFN hence, they came to a conclusion to axe the super star from competing in Rio having felt betrayed by the athlete.
