Revealed: The shocking reason why Robin van Persie is leaving Manchester United To Earn 240 Pounds week In Fenerbahce
ROBIN VAN PERSIE is quitting Manchester United for Fenerbahce because he feels betrayed by Louis van Gaal.
The Dutch pair were close mates and just 12 months ago they were high-fiving at the World Cup in Brazil.
It's believed Van Persie's influence even helped Van Gaal get the Old Trafford job.
But now the striker, 31 is leaving because he feels he's been humiliated, according to the Mirror.
It's claimed a full-scale practice match was held at Carrington on Tuesday in which all the United players played in. Except Van Persie. He was told to train on his own.
Van Persie, who believed he had a United future, felt Van Gaal rubbed salt in the wounds by delivering the bombshell in front of team-mates rather than telling him one-to-one.
It was then the Holland star realised his time was up.
The hitman then told his agent to accept a big-money offer from Fenerbahce.
He will join the Turkish giants for £4.7m and earn a huge £240,000-a-week wages.
