Tijani Babangida Appointed As Technical Adviser Of Fc Mosta In Malta
Former Nigerian International Footballers are in deed making waves in Europe as they are appointed in major European football clubs as heads of technical departments.
Emeka Emenalo heads the Scouting department of Chelsea FC, Finidi George is also serving as the second team coach of Real betis Fc of Spain and not to forget to mention Sunday Oliseh who as well serves in the FIFA technical committee amongst a few who are scattered around Europe and the US
Following in this foot step is Ex Nigeria international Tijani Babangida who has just been appointed by the Maltese side FC Mosta as their new Technical Adviser.
FC Mosta, who also have in their squad two Nigerian players – Haruna Babangida, who incidentally is Babangida's younger brother, and Fortune Udoh – made the announcement on Wednesday June 24th 2015 .
The club announced the signing by posting a picture of Babangida displaying their jersey alongside two officials with the statement 'welcome to the club'
He will be assisted by Ivan Zammit who will serve as coach for the forthcoming season.
Prior to his appointment as the Technical Adviser of the Maltese Club, Okada popularly called by fans due to his pacy style of play was the Chairperson of Glo Premier League side Taraba United.
