Real Madrid Striker Kareem Benzema Detained In Spain
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema was reportedly detained by
police on Tuesday morning after he was caught driving without a valid license for a third time in the Spanish Capital.
Though there are still sketchy details on what really
transpired, should the story prove true, this would be the third time Benzema
has been stopped without a license since 2013 and this might translate to a
jail-term the striker.
The French international forward
was driving a white Rolls Royce along the T4 highway near Madrid airport.
Benzema was arrested by police officers, and the footballer
had a female companion in the car. Apparently, he had not possessed a driving license since 2013 when he was fined 180,000 Euros after been caught by a fixed rader camera traveling at 194.4km per hour in a 100Km per hour zone.
Shortly afterwards, he was again driving without a license and did not have he necessary documents in his car to be legally driven in Spain.
