Un Detonated World War Two Bomb Was Found Near Borussia Dortmund Stadium Thursday 26th February 2015

An unexploded World War II bomb was found near Borussia Dortmund's stadium on Thursday, forcing the Bundesliga club to shut down some of their operations.

The British bomb was found at a parking area near the west tribune of the Signal Iduna Park hours before coach Juergen Klopp's news conference ahead of the Ruhr valley derby against Schalke 04 on Saturday.

The city of Dortmund suffered extensive destruction during bombing raids during the second world War by allied troops according to history books. Jurgen Klopp's Dortmund has so far suspended activities around the Stadium until further investigation is concluded
