Drogba accepted the offer and the two sides reached an agreement in principle for a two-and-a-half year contract.  Drogba was an official spokesperson for a Chinese online gaming company. Drogba, 37, played a key role in helping English club Chelsea FC win the highly coveted Champions League final against Bayern Munich in May. His salary at Chelsea was $185,000 a week.
